About Jeremy Fox
I became interested in photography when my Dad gave me his shoddy old digital point-and-shoot camera in 2009. It was the first time I had ever taken images of my own and I fell in love with it. I bought my first DSLR in early 2012 and have been fervently taking photographs ever since.
After working in an office for 11 years, I made the decision to pursue what I’m passionate about and subsequently graduated from the Photojournalism program at SAIT in 2022.
I love photographing people. Whether it’s doing my best to capture someone’s true essence, or creating a badass cinematic vibe, I love the challenge and the rewards that it can bring. I am super invested in the work we create together. I want to be just as enamored with the photos as you are!
For my personal work I am drawn to urban topography and night scenes, looking for something special in the unremarkable. I’m the dude with his back turned to a gorgeous landscape so that I can photograph a junky car from the early 80’s. I like to think that my photographs are influenced by cinema while evoking a sense of nostalgia.
Check out my headshot or portrait service pages for information about my rates and to book a shoot. Let’s make some rad photos together.
Fast Five:
I am a born-and-raised Calgarian. And I actually kind of like winter (shhh).
I am married to my wonderful wife Catherine. We have two orange cats named Bean and Stinky. They’re the best. We love coming up with new idiotic nicknames for them.
Our home away from home is Gabriola Island, BC.
I’m a prrrretty big fan of pizza. My wife and I have tried over 60 pizza places in Calgary. Recommendations welcomed!
I possess an unhealthy amount of pointless movie-related knowledge, ranging from box office grosses of movies from the late-90s, to the Rotten Tomatoes scores of movies that came out 20 years ago that I have never even seen.
